FUNCTIONAL MANUAL THERAPY

Mike became certified in Functional Manual Therapy (CFMT) in 2004, graduating #1 in his class, "Wtih Distinction.”  

VISCERAL MANIPULATION

1. "Gentle manual therapy that assesses the structural relationships between the viscera (organs), and their fascial or ligamentous attachments to the various systems inthe body".

2. "Assists functional and structural imbalances throughout the body including musculoskeletal, vascular, nervous, respiratory, digestive, eliminatory, neuroendricrine and lymphatic dysfunction".

Mike is presently pursuing a certification in Visceral Manipulation through the Barrall Institute.

NEURAL MANIPULATION

1. "Light-touch, hands on treatment that releases local nerve restrictions while at the same time examines the effect these local fixations have on the rest of the body, and by accessing this relationship, changes the more comprehensive (global) dysfunctional patterns."

OTHER APPROACHES

Mike has had experience with, and regularly utilizes Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques, PNF, Total Motion Release and several other excellent manual therapy approaches in his practice.
